Fullerton Union High School is proud to congratulate four outstanding Performing Arts students who have been named semifinalists for the 2026 Orange County Artist of the Year. Chosen from a highly competitive group of 228 juniors and seniors across Orange County, this honor reflects their dedication, artistry, and commitment to excellence in the arts. In the Dance category, they ranked among the Top 16 out of 107 students, while in the Vocal Music category, they placed in the Top 16 out of 121 students countywide. Congratulations to four FUHS Academy of the Arts seniors Rio Gomez (Dance Pathway), Isabel Calvo (Triple Threat Pathway), Zoe McLaughlin (Triple Threat Pathway), and Aleah Crew (Dance Pathway) on this remarkable achievement. We are incredibly proud of the creativity and hard work each of these students brings to our school community, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish as they continue their artistic journeys!

Fullerton Union High School is proud to announce the 2026 Fullerton Male and Female athletes awarded the Orange County Athletic Directors Athlete of Character Award to Brandon Fan and Marley Keller. These two great athletes demonstrate excellence in athletics, academics, and sportsmanship. Brandan and Marley are great models for FUHS Student Athletes. Both Brandon and Marley are Empire League Champions this year. Brandon was voted MVP of the Empire League for Water Polo. In addition, Marley was also voted MVP of the Empire League for Flag Football. Marley was also awarded an All-CIF honor by the CIF-SS Div. 2 coaches for Flag Football. We wish both these two fine seniors the best in their future endeavors and thank you for representing FUHS so proudly.

Thursday January 14th the 1st annual FJUHSD Poetry Slam was held at La Habra High School. We had a five person team of Jessa Hanchett, Lexi Hernandez, Rebeccca Jacobs, Paisley Polder, and Juno Valdes. The team was amazing. We had two of the top three places for the event. Here are the results: 

1st place: Paisley Polder

3rd place: Juno Valdes
