Dear FUHS Families,

It’s hard to believe we are in the final two weeks of the school year. As I reflect on the past nine months, I am filled with pride for both our students and staff. Fullerton is truly an amazing place.

We would like to congratulate senior Rio Gomez on being named the Orange County Artist of the Year in Dance. She is an incredibly gifted dancer and choreographer, and I know I speak for everyone when I say we will miss watching her perform. Rio, along with Isa Calvo, Zoe McLaughlin, and several others, have also been nominated for awards recognizing their performances and work in Mary Poppins and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We look forward to sharing those results with you soon.

Fullerton had a fantastic spring athletics season, with golf, swim, softball, and stunt all making impressive runs in CIF competition. Our baseball team is advancing to Round 2 and will play at home on Tuesday, May 19, at 3:15 p.m. against Corona del Mar. We would love to see a huge turnout as we cheer our team on to another victory.

I would also like to thank Erin McCarthy and Mike Alvarez for their leadership in coordinating AP and IB testing. By the end of this week, we will have completed nearly 80 exams. Thank you to the teachers who helped prepare our students and to the parents who supported their children throughout the process.

As we head into the final week of school for the Class of 2026, there is a great deal of excitement on campus. Senior activities and graduation traditions always make this a special time of year, and we look forward to celebrating our seniors and all they have accomplished during their time at Fullerton. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for making this such a successful and memorable school year. We look forward to finishing the year strong together.
